Looking back, I had an amazing 2025.

January - March

- Learned about Lambda Calculus

- Invested in the Higher-Order Company

- Read Crafting interpreters and made my own mini-language

- Read Programming Massively Parallel Processors

- Became familiar with CUDA, PTX, AMD assembly, LLVM

- Ranked #700 in the world for the March Madness Bracket Challenge

- Went to a Nuggets game and saw Jokic do this!

April - June

- Bought a pokemon pack for my gf, she pulled a mint condition ultra-rare Pikachu!(PSA certification #115713469)

- Took Network Systems, was operating systems on steroids

- Read the legendary K&R textbook for C programming

- Programmed TCP, UDP, IP, HTTP protocols from scratch

- Got two PRs merged into tinygrad

- Learned how to make plastic and how to weld

- Built "GIANT WOODEN ARMS" in a woodshop (shoutout Asa Mease)

- Got an AMD internship offer!

- Got an Apple internship offer! Had to decline because no room in schedule :(

- Was taught blockchain technology by two Ethereum legends

- Created the idea of Nakamoto governments

- Graduated from CU Boulder with a Bachelors in Computer Science

July - August

- Watched a life-changing presentation by John Carmack

- Rented my first apartment ever

- Did an AMD internship for GPUs doing secret things with LLMs!

- Went to watch Paris Saint-Germain v Atlético Madrid in the Rose Bowl

- Went to Disneyland

- Drove from LA to Austin

- Went to a good CU football game

- Got obssessed with rock climbing. V3-V4s where y'all at??

September - December

- Read the reinforcement learning book 2.5 times

- Created my first Atari AI agents

- Left North America for the first time

- Started my Masters degree at University of Oxford

- Was taught Uncertainty in Deep Learning (amazing class) by Yarin Gal himself

- Properly learned Statistics, Probability, and Information theory

- Read lots and lots of papers
